John Gottschalk
John GOTTSCHALK, 66, who was a blind merchant who called at the Fulton County 4-H Fair in previous years, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the I.O.O.F. home in Greensburg, Ind., where he had resided for almost a year. He had been a resident of Lagro, Ind., for several years.
He was the son of George and Emma SWANK GOTTSCHALK, formerly of Green Oak.
He is survived by two sisters, Gertrude LEWIS, Subiaco, Ark., and Mable WAGONER, Kokomo; four brothers, Lyman [GOTTSCHALK], of Lagro; Cecil [GOTTSCHALK], Hoagland, Ind.; Noah [GOTTSCHALK], Galveston, Texas, and Lester [GOTTSCHALK], South Whitley, and nieces and nephews.
Last rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel in Lagro. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the chapel. Graveside rites will be at 11:45 a.m. Monday at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Rochester.
