Mabel Ruth WAGONER, 88, 708 Ridge Road, Kokomo, died at 3:42 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center.
She was born in Rochester to George and Emma SWANK GOTTSCHALK. On April 16, 1926 she married Milo Omer WAGONER who died Jan. l3, 1976. She retired in 1967 from Delco Electronics after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church and UAW Local 292.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Charles and Joan BASKIN, Zionsville; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Dorothy WAGONER, Kokomo; five grandchildren, Sue (Dr. Robert)_ BOUR, Kokomo; Sandy (Bruce) SCHWIERMAN, Kokomo; Jeff (Natalie) WAGONER, Federal Way, Wash.; Craig (Sherry) BASKIN, Naperville, Ill.; and six great-grandchildren, Valerie BOUR, Zachary BOUR, Ryan MOTE, Randall MOTE, Shelby SCHWIERMAN, all of Kokomo, and Andy SCHWIERMAN, Tipton. Preceding in death was a son.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the France Colonial Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with the Rev. Jim MacDONALD officiating. Noon graveside services will be at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the France Colonial Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
