Former Circuit Judge William G Bennett died at his home in Weston Wednesday night. He was one of the prominent citizens of the State, and a son of Jonathan Bennett, former auditor of Virginia.
He was prominent in Masonic circles, was Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Masons of West Virginia and Past Commander of Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of West Virginia.
His funeral was conducted by the Masonic Grand Lodge of West Virginia with a Knights Templar escort, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Weston.
