STAMFORD, Feb. 18 (Spl) -- Carl Brannon, 62, a resident of Stamford since 1904, died Wednesday afternoon after suffering a heart attack near his home here.
His wife found his body about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, about a block from the residence. He had been in ill health for several years.
Brannon was born at Waxahachie and came to Stamford from Snyder. His wife is the former Miss Lottie Exline.
Survivors besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Radford E. Clayton of Sweetwater; two brothers, Clint Brannon of Tyler and V. B. Brannon of Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. A. D. Gressett, Mrs. J. S. Davis and Mrs. Lelia Mccan of Stamford, and two grandchildren.
