Vernon J. Shady, 68, died at 10 o'clock this morning at the Wells county home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
He was born in Wells county on July 20, 1883, a son of William and Hannah Jone [sic Jones] Shady. He was never married.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Margaret Trenary, of Bluffton. Three sisters, Frances Blosser, Ella [sic Emma Luella] Stewart and Delia Hoover, and three brothers, Charles, James and Nelia [sic Cornelius] Shady, are deceased.
The body was removed to the Thoma funeral home, where friends may call after 10 a. m. Saturday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Thoma funeral home. Burial will be in the Murray cemetery.
