Dean was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and retired from civil service at Tinker Air Force Base as a heat treater for aircraft parts. Dean was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Nicoma Park, OK, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing tennis, sail boating and was a nationally ranked scuba diver. Dean's humor was second to none. He always had a way of bringing a smile to your face and making you laugh. He had such a passion for living and loving. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Dean is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne; son, Dean Jr.; 3 daughters, Donna Mobbs, Doris King, and Diana Volquardsen; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and his best bud, Gus.
