Funeral for Hardie Haley, 74, of Decatur will be Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Haley died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 4, 1930, in Lawrence County to Wallace Haley and Autie Frederick Haley. He retired from Wolverine Tube in 1992 as a stores supervisor. Mr. Haley was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Boyd Haley; and one sister, Wanda Haley.

Survivors include his wife, Vera N. Haley; one son, Barry R. Haley and wife Daphne B. Haley of Hernando, Miss.; one daughter, Phyllis Haley of Birmingham; one grandson, Bryant Mason Haley of Hernando; six brothers, Dovell Haley of Decatur, Vernie Haley of Tuscaloosa, Dale Haley of Houston, Ala., Freddie Haley and Carlton Haley, both of Hartselle, and Kenneth Haley of Muscle Shoals; four sisters, Vernelle Haley Miner of Eva, June Haley Maxwell of Somerville, Sandra Haley Holmes of Hartselle and Sherri Haley Griffith of Massey.

Pallbearers will be Alan Miner, Steve Maxwell, Raymon Haley, Tim Haley, Danny Haley and Carlton Haley.
