Kenneth Wayne Haley, age 63, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gary Carter officiating. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Haley was a Vietnam Veteran with the 101 Airborn Infantry. His military honors include a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Two Overseas Bars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 DVC, Air Medal, Sharpshooter (M-14 Rifle), and 2D Class Gunner (M-60 Machine Gun). He was a member of the VFW Post 4919 and Local 65 Machinists. He retired from TVA after working there thirty-five years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Autie Haley; brothers, Hardie Haley, Boyd Haley, and Bernie Haley; and sister, Sandra Holmes.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Eckles Haley; daughter, Valerie Haley; stepson, Ryan King; stepdaughter, Kelli Jeffreys and husband, Scotty; brothers, Dovell Haley, Freddie Haley, Carlton Haley, and Dale Haley; sisters, Vernell Miner, June Maxwell, and Sherry Griffith; and twelve grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the VFW Post 4919.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
