Mrs. Alice Demmon, 82, a native and lifelong resident of Mt. Carroll, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Savanna City Hospital. The former Alice Moore was born July 11, 1870 at Mt. Carroll, the daughter of Robert and Anna Moore.
Surviving are one son, Austin Demmon, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Miss Mary Demmon, at home; and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank Funeral Home in Mt. Carroll with Rev. J. J. Burrows, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
