Mr. Egbert was born Dec. 21, 1934, in Wichita. He owned and operated Egbert Oil Co. and was a Hutchinson entrepreneur.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; three sons, Tim of Orange, Calif., Brian of Hutchinson and Barry of Round Rock, Texas; three brothers, Erwin E. "Elmo" of Wichita, Michael D. of Glendale, Ariz., and Patrick V. of Hutchinson; two sisters, Donna Heimerman and Mary Ellen Schrock, both of Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
