Ada P. Canfield Retallick, 83, of 2112 Lyndon Ave., died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Retallick worked 32 years at the former RCA Corp., retiring in 1972.

She enjoyed traveling and camping.

Born in Philippi, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Olive Jane England Phillips.

Her husband, Stephen G. Retallick, died in 1995.

Surving are a son, Jennings Canfield of Lancaster; a daughter, Frances, wife of Enos E. Kellenberger of New Providence; a stepson, Ronald S., husband of of Joanne Retallick of Northeast, Md.; two stepdaughters, Rose Marie, wife of Thomas Hemperley, and Diana, wife of Chester Priest, both of Lancaster; 37 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon, husband of Bernice Phillips of Lancaster; and two sisters, Geraldine Elliott and Nina Lee Geiger, both of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, William L. Canfield.
