Mayme Thilmony, 92, of Rankin, died at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 1979 at Hoopeston Community Hospital.
Services were at 10 a.m. Friday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Rankin, with the Rev. John Podlashes officiating. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda.
Mrs. Thilmony was born May 23, 1886, in Loda, the daughter of John and Mary Mangan Butler. She was married to John Thilmony Feb. 24, 1912, at Loda. He died Aug. 23, 1962.
She leaves 2 sons, James and Edward, both of Rankin; a brother, James of Champaign; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, one son and one daughter.
Mrs. Thilmony was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and Altar Rosary Society, Rankin; the Rankin American Legion Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Wolfe Funeral Home, Rankin, was in charge of arrangements. The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday.
