CLEVELAND, Idaho - Afton Bennett Forman, 93, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009, in Preston, Idaho, at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center. She was born March 13, 1916, in Mound Valley, Idaho to Ephriam Arthur and Elva Ann Seamons Bennett. She married Charles LeRoy Forman on Sept. 14, 1933, in Soda Springs, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Afton was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in the Relief Society, Primary, Sunday School and MIA. She was a beautiful quilter and made the best rag rugs. She always enjoyed gardening and crocheting, as well as knitting. She is survived by her children, Keith Charles (Joye) Forman, of Bountiful, Utah, Shirley F. (Bud) Keller, Thatcher, Idaho, and Elva Ann (Karl) Merryweather, of Heber, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, a son Duane Bennett Forman, a daughter-in-law DeLaine, a grandson Ryan Charles Keller, and six brother and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Williams-Thatcher Ward LDS Chapel in Niter, Idaho, with Bishop Randy Panter conducting. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida in Preston and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Soda Springs Cemetery. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Williams-Thatcher Ward Chapel, Niter, Idaho. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, Preston and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church.
