Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution and Children of the American Revolution joined to conduct a memorial service and to place a bronze plaque for Revolutionary War patriot Thomas Cook buried in the Sand Creek Friends cemetery in Bartholomew County.

The Martin family came in the dress of the Civil War era to honor him.

Col. Barry Richmond, Camp Atterbury post commander, was the guest speaker and covered Cook's history.
