Edward N. McFarland was the youngest son of Andrew Jackson McFarland and Martha (Winders) McFarland. He was born in Kentucky but lived most of his adult life in Henry Co., Tennessee. He used to make brooms and take them to sell to people around the Court Square in Paris, Henry Co., Tennessee. He also ran a small general store out on the old Murray Highway north of Paris.
