Edward Wilder McFarland of Rt. 4, White Ave., died Sunday at 8:45 AM at Puryear Nursing Home. He was 68.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 PM at LeDon Chapel with burial in Bevil Cemetery. The body is at Ridgeway Morticians who will be in charge of all arrangements.

He was born August 10, 1900 in Henry County the son of the late Ed McFarland and Alice Pillow McFarland. He was married to the former Mrs. Mary Martin Wofford and she preceded him in death in 1964. He was a Methodist and was a veteran of World War II. He was an insurance salesman.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Clady Robbins of Lincoln, Mich., one step-son, Nay Wofford of California; three sisters, Mrs Sudie Walker, Mrs. U. A. Hart and Mrs. Seth Brown all of Paris; one brother, George McFarland of Paris; two step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
