Lucy Amento Abbatello, 85, of New Haven, CT died in Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT. Wife of the late George J. Abbatello, Sr. Born in New Haven, CT to the late Salvatore and Pauline Amento. Mother of Mary Lou (Ronald) Crapio and George J. Abbatello, Jr. both of New Haven, Nancy (Harry) Madley of Panama City, FL and Joseph G. (Nancy) Abbatello of North Branford. Grandmother of Dawn (Pierre) Novelli, Anthony Crapio, Christopher and Jeffery Abbatello, Katherine (Mark) Campbell and Laura Madley. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister of Mary Carusone of New Haven, Anthony Amento of Florida and the late Nancy DePrimo, Annette Ceruzzi, Rose Picucci, Carmel Raffone, Frank, Paul, Joseph and Carmen Amento.

Prior to her retirement Lucy was a housekeeper for the former New Fairview Hall Nursing Home for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Francis Church.
