David Askren, for a short time a resident of Seneca, died at three A. M. Saturday, October 14th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Verne Basey in Kansas City, Kansas. He had not been well for some time. He is survived by three sons, Virgil, Kansas City, Kans.; Ernest, Frankfort and Lee of Plattsburgh, Mo. and a daughter, Mrs. Basey; 16 grandchildren. Mrs. Askren died several years ago. The funeral services will be held Monday and burial will be beside his wife at Soldier.
