Mrs I M Burks died Wednesday morning at her home in Ellenwood. Mrs Burks is survived by her husband; three sons, A M, W R and J L Burks, all of Atlanta; and two daughters, Mrs C A Dowden [Bowden], of Atlanta, and miss Alva Burks, of Ellenwood.

Daughter of Augustus Young Adamson and his second wife, Elizabeth Caroline Robinson. She was the mother of Hester Orelia Burks Bowden, Lizzie Lee Burks, Alonzo Meadows Burks, Alva E Burks, Edward L Burks, James Luke Burks, and William Russell Burks.
