Edward A. Rickard, 76, of Henderson, passed away Dec. 7, 2007. He was born Aug. 11, 1931, in Kemmerer, Wyo., and resided in Henderson since 1977. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired from the U.S. Government as a mechanic. Edward is survived by his wife, Betty Rickard of Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael Walker of Roanoke, Va., daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Robert Melton of Savannah, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Janice Rickard of Parker, Colo.; sister, Margaret Beckstead of Clovis, Calif.; and grandchildren, Matthew and Mason Walker and Christina and Robert Melton. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, with burial to follow at Palm Memorial Park.
