JEMIMA OPPERMAN
Malad - Mrs. Jemima Opperman, 73, long time Malad resident, died Tuesday in the Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden, Utah, of a heart attack.
She was born March 18, 1890, in Malad, a daughter of George and Jemima Evans Stuart. She was married to Frank H. Opperman, on Oct. 2, 1912, at Malad.
Mrs. Opperman was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Oneida War Mothers.
Survivors are a son, Lewis, and a daughter, Mrs. Lyman Monson, both of Idaho Falls; another daughter, Mrs. William W. Williams, Roy, Utah; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Evan Stuart, Malad; and sisters Mrs. Agnes Burnette, Riverside, Calif.; and Mrs. Vina Robertette, Klamath Falls, Ore.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Fourth LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Arthur Servoss officiating. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Thursday night and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
