John M. Hufferd, Merchant, Expires
John M. Hufferd, 50 years old, died Saturday morning at his home in 319 West Second Street after a prolonged illness. he had been in a serious condition since February.
Mr. Hufferd was born in Hancock County, April 29, 1890, and resided in Rush County most of his life. He was proprietor of the Rush County Hatchery, corner of Main and First Streets.
The deceased is survived by the widow; one son, Fred, of Rushville; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Voiles, of this city; four grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Hufferd of south of Arlington; two brothers, Ralph of Arlington, and Thomas of Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Reddick and Mrs. Russell Orme, both of Homer.
Funeral services will be held at the late residence at two o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. W. V. Jenkins of Homer will be in charge and interment will be in Arlington Cemetery. Fridnsa may call iat the late residence after 10 a.m. Sunday.
