CLORINDA S. FRESQUEZ
Age 86, a resident of San Pedro, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 following a lengthy illness. Her unfailing love and faith in Our Lord guided her to His own special garden. She was a master gardener, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Rafaelita Sanchez; sisters, Loren Casados and Adela Trujillo; brothers, Emilio, Adolfo, Vences, Phil, Felipe, Abel and Luis Sanchez. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society, Las Carmelitas and the Catholic Daughters. Mrs. Fresquez is survived by her husband of almost 68 years, Ramon Fresquez of San Pedro; children, Louis Fresquez and wife Rachel of San Pedro, David Fresquez and wife Loretta, Robert Fresquez and wife Annabella all of La Mesilla, Jude Wheat and husband Billie of Rio Rancho, Paul Fresquez and wife Barbara and Christopher Fresquez and wife Renee all of La Mesilla; special nieces, Carmela Martinez, Lourdes Gallegos, Filomena Rivera, Helen Vigil, and Susie Salazar; caretakers, Adriana Muñoz and Matilde Herrera; special friends, Julian and Frances Romero; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers, Lawrence, Charles and Robert Ray Fresquez, Michael Wheat and Paul and Joshua Fresquez. Honorary pallbearers named are all the remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Fresquez family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
