Henry Deardorff, 75, a prosperous farmer of the northern section of the county for many years, died at his home at Gardners this morning at 4:45 o'clock from a complication of diseases. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Deardorff & resided in Adams County his entire life.
Surviving are his widow, & these children: Mrs. C.D. Bream of Bendersville; Mrs. Lemuel Bertner of Aspers; Mrs. A.W. Wenk of Aspers; C.E. Deardorff of Riverton, Wyoming; A.B. Deardorff of Bendersville; & Mrs. Arthur Courtney of Norristown; 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, & the following brothers & sisters: Anthony & Samuel Deardorff of Mummasburg; Benjamin Deardorff of Kansas City, & Miss Jennie Deardorff in California.
Funeral services Thursday at his late home at 1:30 o'clock.
Interment at Arendtsville.
