Myrtle Wilde Williams Mathews, 76, passed away December 4, 1996 at the Logan Regional Hospital.
She was born September 24, 1920 in Coalville, Utah to Charles Ernest and Della Nix Wilde. She graduated from North Summit High School. Most of her life she lived in Peoa, Utah.
On June 7, 1941, she married Sterling Williams, he died July 22, 1987. She later married Morrell Matthews, Aug. 26, 1989 and lived in Scipio, Utah, he passed away January 15, 1993.
She was loved by everyone who knew her, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved the out of doors, fishing, hunting, and traveling. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
She is survived by five brothers, Owen Wilde (Alice); Carl Wilde (June); Ren Wilde (Marie), all of Coalville, Utah; Verl Wilde (Dawn); Walden Wilde (Verna), of Salt Lake City; two sisters, May Lewis of Marion, Utah; Eillene Richins (Delbert) of Henefer, Utah. She is survived by many relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, 12 noon at the LDS Chapel in Peoa, Utah. Friends may call at the church Friday evening, 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Peoa Cemetery.
