Mrs. Mary Ellen Parks
Mrs. Mary Ellen (Garis) Parks widow of John Lamberson Parks, died at the home of her son, J. Raymond Parks, 326 Mifflin Street, at 1:25 p.m., November 1, 1944, on her seventy-seventh birthday. She was united in marriage to Mr. Parks 56 years ago at Parkers Landing, Pa. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. George Parks, Elmer Parks, Raymond Parks, all of Huntingdon; James Parks, Hollidaysburg, R.D.; Mrs. Paul Biddle, Warriors Mark R.D.; 31 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Brown's funeral parlor. Interment will be made in Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.
