Albert Bowles, 57, Glasgow, Kentucky, died early today. He had been ill many years.

Mr. Bowles was born May 8, 1917, in Barren County, Ky., the son of Samuel L. and George Ann Dean Bowles. He was never married.

The deceased served in the army in World War II and had been in the hospital since his discharge, suffering from shell shock.

Among the survivors is a brother, Fred Bowles; a nephew, Charles L. Bowles and three nieces, Mrs. Charles Redden, Jr., Mrs. Robert Hammond and Mrs. Tim Crain, all of this city.

Funeral arrangements are pending for Thursday at the A. F. Grow [sic] Funeral Home in Glasgow.
