ATHENS - Funeral services for Chesley Vincent Yancy, 77, Athens 3, who died Monday at a local nursing home, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. James E. Harris and Bill Lambert officiating.
Burial will be at Johnson's Chapel Cemetery Morgan County.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. M. T. Douglas, Athens, Mrs. Wyman Garrison, Columbus, Miss., Mrs. George Bailey, Mrs. Calvin Brock, both of Athens; three sons, Howard Yancy, Athens 3, Ivan Yancy, Becker, Miss., Lamar Yancy, Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Ophelia Prater, Longview Tex., a brother, George Yancy, Decatur; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
