On Thursday afternoon Philip Sheridan Benner died at his home, in Gap, from tuberculosis, aged forty-four years. Mr. Benner was a farmer. He is survived by his wife and seven children, as well as his mother, Mrs. Theba Benner, of Churchtown. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Millard, of Churchtown; Mrs. Harry Stauffer, of Goodville; Mrs. Harlan Stauffer, of Kinzer; Mrs. G. A. Slaymaker, of Kinzer.
