Harvey C. Hansen

Harvey C. Hansen, 65, of 1904 Wisconsin Ave., New Holstein, died of a heart attack at his home today.

Mr. Hansen, a former accountant and personnel man for the local Tecumseh Co., had worked 44 years for the firm, formerly Hart-Carter, until retirement two years ago. He was also a one-time New Holstein city clerk and former member of the municipal utilities commission.

Born in New Holstein, Aug. 3, 1893, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August J. Hansen. He was educated in the high school there and at Milwaukee Business College. On Dec. 20, 1916, he married Agatha O. Schreiter in New Holstein, following which the couple continued to reside there. Mr. Hansen was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 172 and the Redmen Lodge.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Harvey, New Holstein, Staff Sgt. Richard, stationed at Bunker Hill Air Force Base in Peru, Ind., and Robert, Oshkosh; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Jane) Konz, Kiel, and three grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death.

Masonic rites will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home in New Holstein, with burial in City cemetery.
