Fleming b 2 Sept 1844, Armstrong co, Penn; 4th son of Samuel Fleming & Rebecca Anderson McCombs; parents died within 20d of each other in autumn 1886; oldest bro James R. served in Civil War with 204 Penn Inf and d 1 Oct 1864 in washington, DC; 3rd bro John A. served in Co K, 155 Penn Inf and was killed at Battle of Chancellorsville 3 May 863; another bro Willie K. died young in May 1847; K.G. served in Civil War with Co K, 155 Penn Inf; mov to Solomon area 1871; m 1873 to Helen Blair; had 3 daus & 2 sons; settled on farm 1 mi S of Solomon in 1883; d 9 Apr 1895 after being injured in runaway; bur Prairie Mound cem; surv by wife & 5 ch; 3 bros & 3 sis, David M. of Armstrong co, Penn; Rev.
