Isabel G. Danker was born March 26, 1907, in St. Patrick, a daughter of Robert William and Sarah Riney Gibson. She had taught at Augusta School near Canton and at Ewing school. She worked as a telephone switchboard operator in Canton. She also was employed by P. N. Hirsch Store in Canton for 13 years, retiring in 1979 at the age of 72. Her memberships included St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville, and the Daughters of Isabella of the Shrine of St. Patrick. On Oct. 7, 1930, she married John Tuley in St. Patrick. He died May 27, 1940. On Nov. 10, 1956, she married Frederick Danker. He died Nov. 25, 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Clarita T.) Giesmann of Wentzville; two sons, William Tuley of Olathe, Kan., and Robert Tuley of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, George Gibson of O'Fallon; eight grandchildren; 13 grandchildren; and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a son, James Elmer Tuley.
Funeral services were held Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. Robert Kurwicki. Music was furnished by the St. Patrick Men's Choir with Marie Brennan at the organ.
Pall bearers were Michael Tuley, Ronald Stiegmann, Ronald Tuley, Mark Tuley, Virgil Rose and Christopher Hulett. Burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery.
