"Sarah was the second wife of Myron Kenyon (sometimes spelled Kinyon.) Myron's first wife was Barbara Mitchell but she and Sarah were probably not related. Sarah was the daughter of James Mitchell and Susan Kelley, from Middlesex County, Ontario, near London. James died in Canada and his wife Susan married again, to James Carroll. James and Susan Carroll and family emigrated to St. Clair County, Michigan, about 1849. Sarah married Myron Kenyon 11 November 1854 in China Township, St. Clair County, Michigan. They had one daughter, Sarah Maria, born 27 August 1855 who married Thomas Wood." Suzanne
