Born in Norway of unknown parentage. Born in Oslo, Norway, it said on her marriage license. Naturalized in 1899 the census says.
Adoptive parents were Gustav Olson Moe whose father was Ole Larsen Moe and mother was Randi Eriksdatter b. Nov 6 1849 d. Aug 2, 1932 Dane County Death Record Vol 60-304 Adoptive mother was Frederika Amundson daughter of Amund Peterson d. May 30, 1910 age 73-5-6 Vol 30 p. 55 They "adopted" (nothing legal) Aagot at 18 months of age and lived in Rutland.

MRS. ELLINGSON DIES ON SUNDAY

TOWN OF DUNN WOMAN, 59, DIES AT MADISON HOSPITAL WHERE SHE HAD BEEN CONFINED

Mrs. Aagot Ellingson, 59, of the town of Dunn, died at 11 o'clock Sunday evening in a Madison hospital where she had been a patient for the past two months.

She was born Feb 7, 1879 in the town of Rutland (sic)and lived there until her marriage to Henry Ellingson on April 26, 1905. The couple engaged in farming in the town of Dunn, where Mrs. Ellingson has since resided. Mr. Ellingson died February 1, 1931.

Survivors are four sons, Oren of Madison, Parker, Fredrick, and Clair, at home, and one daughter, Allys, at home and one grandchild (Louise).

The Rev. L.L. Nesvik will conduct funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Kjolseth funeral home and at 2 o'clock from Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Death records for (Dane County, Volume 81 p. 118) says she died of a peptic duodenal ulcer. She had a gastric resection on 10-11-1938, died a month later of peretonitis from the surgery. Also had arterioschlerotic heart disease. Kjolseph was undertaker. Informant was Clair Ellingson.
