Mrs. Hattie Bardwell, 59, wife of Millard Bardwell, died at 6:45 last night in the home of Dr. and Mrs. R.Y. Jones, where she had stopped for a short call. Her death came unexpectedly and was apparently due to a heart attack.

Mrs. Bardwell was born November 30, 1881, in Rush county and had lived in Hutchinson since 1902.

Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Sybil West, Mrs. Mabel Mittendorf and Thelma Bardwell of Hutchinson and Hetty Stutzman of Langdon; two sons, Willard Bardwell of Hays and Mark Bardwell of Panguitch, Utah.; a sister, Mrs. Banner Shank and a brother, Calbert Glaspy, both of Hutchinson.
