Loretta Gail Oshel, daughter of Pearl Rose English and Frank Marion English, born May 4, 1922 in her grandparents' home in Waynoka, Oklahoma, died September 10, 2007 in her home of 55 years in Alva, Oklahoma.

Funeral services wereheld Friday, September 14, 2007 in the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel. Sean Evans, minister of the First Christian Church of Alva, will be officiating and Judge Dean Linder will be delivering the eulogy. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of the Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

She married Corporal Warren Herbert Oshel, US Army Air Corps in Enid, Oklahoma, on January 20, 1943.

Loretta Gail is survived by her mother Pearl English Crain of Alva, her three sons: Dean, Ken, and David, her daughter Lore, eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the NWOSU Foundation.
