Mrs. Minnie G. Hollis, 511 Humboldt, died last night in St. Mary's Hospital. She has been a resident of this community since 1927. Her husband, Charles E. Hollis, preceded her in death April 14, 1966.
She was born September 14, 1881, in Bowen, Hancock County, Illinois, and was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Turner, 511 Humboldt, and two grandchildren, Karen Sue, of the home, and Sister Mary Gretchen of Lake Linden, Michigan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Burliew-Cowen-Edwards Chapel. The Reverend Kenneth Hemphill will officate. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
