Wills Point-Services for Charlotte McLeod, 78, Dallas, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Casa Linda United Methodist Church, Dallas, with the Rev. Joe Florence officiating. Burial will be in White Rose Cemetery, Wills Point, under direction of Herschel LyBrand Funeral Home, Wills Point. Mrs. McLeod died May 28.
She was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Wills Point to the late Claude and Annie Phipps Ebarb. She served in the Navy during World War II and retired from Fondren Library of Southern Methodist University. She was a member of Casa Linda United Methodist Church, Lee Bedford Sunday School Class and UMW. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis McLeod in 1987.
Survivors include son, Tom McLeod, Dallas; daughter, Nancy Petty, Rowlett; sister, Cybil Clements, Wills Point; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. at the Wills Point funeral home and 6-8 Monday at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home, Dallas. If desired, memorials may be made to Casa Linda United Methodist Church.
