Mrs Milliard (Pearl Francis) Chapman

Funeral services will be conducted at the residence, 808 College Street, Friday at 10:00am for Mrs Pearl Francis Chapman, 64, who succumbed here at home Tuesday morning after an illness of seven years. Mrs Chapman, the wife of Mr Milliard Chapman, is a native of Barren Co, daughter of the late Henry and Della Hammer Francis. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. Surviving besides Mr Chapman are a daughter, Mrs Lewis [Clarine] Smith, Mahomet, Ill; two sons, Clifton and Russell, both of Louisbille; three sisters, Mrs H.C. Riddle, Rt 4; Mrs Charles Hepler, Ashtabula, Ohio, Mrs Willie Stenson, Kansas City, Mo; three brothers, Price and Bryant Francis, Glasgow, and Terry Francis, Flippin; two stepdaughters Mrs Campbell, Nashville, Mrs Huddleston, Brownsville; three stepsons, Reid, Frank and Watt Chapman, all of Louisville;. After services by Rev Kenneth Grizzle, interment will be in Caney Fork cemetery under direction of Crow Funeral Home. Burial Friday, 29 Nov 1957.

Pearl's husband, Milliard Chapman, first married Phebe Oliver. Following her death in 1920, he married again to Pearl Francis, who also predeceased him.
