Services for Bennie Jack Alexander, 60, were held at First Baptist church. He was a lifelong resident. Mr. Alexander was a truck driver and oil well cementer having been employed by Olney Cementing Company and Megargel Drilling Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the New Hearts Club at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was the 87th heart transplant recipient at Baylor in 1991.
Survived by his wife; one son - Mike Alexander; one daughter - Brenda Byers; his mother - Sallie Alexander; four brothers - A.C. "Dago" Alexander, Cletus Alexander, Glenn Dee Alexander, Alvin Wayne Alexander; one sister - Donia Fay Woods; four grandchildren.
