TJ Reeves passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 after an accidental fall at the age of 91. TJ was the son of Thomas and Julia Reeves of Newcastle, OK, where he was born on March 29, 1918. He attended Newcastle schools and graduated from Blanchard High School in 1936. In 1937, he enlisted in the Army and in 1940 reenlisted in the Army Air Force where he served throughout WWII in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and France campaigns; being discharged in June 1945. TJ retired after 35 years at Foremost Dairy of Oakland, CA. He is survived by his sister, Marion Thornhill-Heft of the home and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He attended Putnam City Baptist Church. Services are at Mercer Adams Funeral Home in Bethany on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 am. Interment will be in the Blanchard Cemetery at 1:30 pm with full military honors.
