Marion Thornhill, 94, a pioneer educator in Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, November 2, at her daughter's home in Owings Mills, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and son, David. She left behind a daughter, Teresa Cordonnier of Owings Mills; two grandchildren, Leslie James Cordonnier of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, and Julianne Boots of Reisterstown, Maryland, and five great-grandchildren. Viewing was held at Mercer Adams Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, from 3-6 p.m. Funeral services were on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Putnam City Baptist Church, where she was a member and teacher for over 45 years. Interment followed at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
