COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 12/22/1957
Mrs. Ella B. Campbell, 83, died at 12:35 p.m. yesterday in SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She lived at 313 N. 32nd. A native of Payneville, she was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Willie, Edgar, and Joseph Campbell; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, Indianapolis, Mrs. Lillian Brown, and Mrs. Beulah Yates; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Board, New Albany, Ind., and Mrs. Sue Berryman and Mrs. Emma Atkinson, both of Payneville; a brother, Mill Flaherty; 20 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. The body will be at Blanford-Ratterman Funeral Home, 2815 S. Fourth, until 10 p.m. today, when it will be taken to the Sturgeon Funeral Home, Brandenburg. The funeral will be Tuesday morning in St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at Payneville. Burial will be in St. Theresa Cemetery.
