Mrs. Nellie Bosley
Death has removed one of the most highly respected citizens in the Chenault vicinity in the person of Mrs. Nellie Bosley. On April 8 at her country home "Beechwood" at Chenault after a short illness of lobular pneumonia. Her death came as a shock to her many friends and relatives, and the esteem she was held by them was attested by the many acts of loving kindness, prayers, and floral offerings. Endowed with a true Christian spirit she bore her great suffering with infinite courage.
Ella Catherine Gilliland Bosley was the daughter of Adam T. Gilliland and Elizabeth Wimp Frymire, whose parents were among the early pioneers of this section of the State. At the age of nineteen she was married to Lee H. Bosley of near French Lick Springs, Indiana, who preceded her in death six years ago. The following children survive: Mrs. R.I. Stephenson, Hardinburg, Mrs. Ralph Whitehead of Louisville; and Earl Bosley of the home place. The body was laid to rest in St. Theresa's Cemetery.
