DAVID DUBOIS
David DuBois, 72, Tracy, Mo., died Thursday morning February 6th, 1964 at St. John's hospital. He had been ill for the past six weeks and had been in failing health for some time.
Mr. DuBois had lived at Tracy for the past 30 years where he operated a filling station and tavern.
He was born near Winchester, a son of Amos and rose DuBois. In March 1913 at Kansas City MO, he was married to Miss Christina Miller. She died April 26, 1953.
Surviving are: daughter, Mrs. Christena Amos, Tracy; three sons, David Jr, Fortuna MO, George R, Smithville and Melvin R, 533 Santa Fe; three sisters, Mrs. Meta Haight and Mrs. Blanche Bird, both of Winchester, and Mrs. Kathryn Gibson, Ellis KS; brother Amos L. DuBois, San Gabriel CA, 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Sumpter Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
