Mt. PLEASANT-Fannie Fay Bennett Shelley, 87, of Mountainville, Utah, passed away on November 6, 1999 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
She was born on December 1, 1911 in Deseret, Utah, to Joshua Rudd and Lillie May Hales.
She married John William Shelley July 20,
1932 in the Manti Temple. She gave her life to her family, neighbors and church.
She is survived by her children, Lloyd and Virginia Shelley of Hurricane; Ben and Sandy Shelley of Bountiful; Ross and Nadene Shelley and Melba Hill of Mountainville; Ervin and Loretta Shelley, and Ivan and Dawn Shelley of Fairview; Lowell and Barby Shelley of Salt Lake City; Hal and Becky Shelley of Mapleton; and Louise and Nancy Shelley of Price; 62 grandchildren; and 86 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lila Graham of Fairview; and Florence Bliss of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999 in the Mt. Pleasant 1st Ward chapel, 49 South State Street, Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
Friends and family may call at Ursenbach Funeral Home on Tuesday, 7 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery
