Isabella Vilate Bennett Fillmore, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 91, passed away June 1, 1991 in Salt Lake City of natural causes.

Born January 5, 1900 in Deseret, Utah, to Joseph Rudd and Lillie May Hales Bennett. Married Marvin William Fillmore, July 21, 1922, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, November 15 1922. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1981. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in various positions in the Primary, Relief Society, and Sunday School. She spent many dedicated hours doing temple work and genealogy. She was active in the DUP. She was well known for her beautiful quilting and handwork.

Survived by a daughter, Lucile F. Whaley, of Sunnyvale, California; a son, Earl B. Fillmore, Salt Lake City, Utah; six grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, Clifford Bennett, Ethel Ashby, Lenora Elkington, Lila Graham, Fanny Shelley, Florence Bliss, and Helen Nash.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 1991, 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive. Friends may call at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Tuesday 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
