Mrs. Martinez was born March 11 1921 in La Veta, Colorado. On Nov. 4 1940, she married Joseph Martinez in Del Norte . She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
church she lived in Durango since 1960.
In addition to her husband survivors include her daughters Bernice Trujillo of Colorado Springs and Cynthia Soto of Durango, sons Ronnie Martinez of Durango and Bob Martinez of Aztec NM. Sisters Mary Garcia and Ernestine Baca both of Del Norte, 10 Grandchildren: Richard, Edward, Joyce, Gina, Tina, Janice, Joleen, Michael, Joseph and Cody: 13 great-grandchildren.
