To John and Anna were born 2 children: – Elizabeth Jane and Cynthia Ann. His wife, Anna would die circa 1856 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. It is believed he married twice more: (1) Rebecca N. History ca 1855 and (2) Susan Elizabeth Leonard Gobbel on 7 October 1868. John would have seven children with Rebecca:– Jacob, Debolt, Daniel, William, Abra(h)am, Susan A. and Emeline. With Susan Leonard Gobbel, John would have no children. During the 1860 and 1870 U. S. Census, he is listed as living in Pike Co., Illinois. In the 1880 Census, he is listed as living in Scott Co, Illinois. John died 21 November 1887. He was buried in Blue River Cemetery, Detroit, Pike Co., Illinois.
