Marjorie Hetrick, daughter of George and Henrietta (Gould) Hetrick, was born December 19, 1915 in Sioux
Falls, SD. She grew up and received her education there. On February 20, 1937 she was united in marriage to
Charles Davis in Sioux Falls. The couple made their home there where in addition to be a loving homemaker
and mother she worked at Rush's Motel, the Holiday Inn and the Ramada Inn. Charles preceded her in death in
1971. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter Sharon Lane, Sioux Falls, two sisters, Gertrude Grotjohn, of
Sioux Falls, Shirley Moreney, Pepin, MN, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great
grandchildren, Pastor Nick and Jennie Constant and her church family. Her parents, two sons, Charles Jr., and
Ronald, a brother Donald and sisters, Dorothy, LaVonne and Lucille, also preceded her in death.
